New Pregnancy Yoga classes for 2009

The next session of Pregnancy Yoga classes start up in Jan 2009. These will be on Mondays at 6.30pm in Carlton Hall. Courses are for 8 weeks with the option of taking a 6-week course for those of you who may be getting close to your due date! Get more information on courses here

Hatha Yoga classes

A new session of hatha yoga classes starts up in Jan 2009 in Carlton Hall, Marino. These are on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm. The classes are flowing hatha – an invigorating and fun style that keeps the body moving and the muscles warm. Hatha yoga is ideal for strength and flexibility and is suitable for all levels. It’s particularly suitable for anyone recently had a baby as yoga focuses very much on core conditioning, lower back strength and deep breathing techniques.

Labour Workshops

Ideal for women in their third trimester, labour workshops give you simple yoga positions and breathing techniques to use for birth. Each workshop is 2 and a half hours long and there is the chance to share information and exchange labour tips with other women. Handouts are provided so that you don’t have to remember everything! Workshops are every month on Saturday mornings in Clontarf.
